		<description>&#60;b&#62;Saturday 3 January 2009&#60;/b&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
		EqualityCamp will begin to plan MarriageEquality2.0 so that all Californians and Americans and their families &#8212; including the gay people &#8212; are equal under the law. EqualityCamp is based on BarCamp, an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. Goals: An inclusive, inspiring, integrated (web and on-the-ground) movment with a clear central place online and feedback loop to empower a grassroots movement that integrates with any formal campaign. For more details and to register, &#60;a href="http://equalitycamp.com/" target="_blank"&#62;click here&#60;/a&#62;.&#60;br /&#62;

		<title>MARCH FOR &quot;LIFE&quot; COUNTER-PROTEST</title>
		<link>http://thesisters.org/calendar.html#counter</link>
		<guid>http://thesisters.org/calendar.html#counter</guid>
		<description>&#60;b&#62;Saturday 24 January 2009&#60;/b&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
		The fights for reproductive rights and marriage equality are essentially the same: to prevent religion from influencing politics, and to get the government out of our private lives. The group of counter-protesters is usually so small that it's dwarfed by the huge &quot;March for Life&quot; (whose participants are bussed in to San Francisco from great distances). Let's boost the number of counter-protesters this year and make a big positive statement for the media. Organized by BACORR (Bay Area Coalition for Reproductive Rights) and others.&#60;br /&#62;
