Sister Mary Media

Sister Mary Media is one of the original Sisters who there at the Order’s founding in 1979. In those early days she served as Mistress of Communications and editor of the intra-Order scandal sheet “The Epistle”. She was designer of many of the early flyers and promotional items, foremost among them the iconic “Play Fair!” safer sex pamphlet created for distribution along the route of the 1982 Gay Freedom Day Parade. After a number of years as a “passive” sister, she has recently re-activated and can now be found engaged cheerfully (mostly) in community service at any number of Sister events, when not at work on her tell-all stage play/musical about the veiled origins of the Order.
