When Did You Discover Your Calling?

My partner Sr Freda Desire was already a Sister and in tagging along supporting I fell in love with the work and what it meant to me.

Why did you join?

Sr Freda served as Mistress of Saints before I joined, and I assisted them with the Saintings (and was Sainted myself in 2016).. In 2018 we canonized Stormy Daniels at a North Beach strip club. The story got some press and I realized it was unfair that I stood out in the pic in my kitty slut drag, so my initial idea was to do it so I could blend in.

Eight years later I hardly do drag because people really want to see Sisters, and it’s a great privilege to represent.

Religious Beliefs (if any)

Raised Catholic, stepped away because of multigenerational trauma. Working with various Christian orgs has renewed my faith in the faith of tolerant and loving people, but I don’t blame Jesus for not coming back till we get our heads out of out butts.

Major Projects with the Order

I stepped in as de facto Mistress of Saints before my elevation, and have officially held the role since. It brings me joy to honor those in our communities who uplift us, and has led to some amazing adventures.

My main legacy project is leading up the team for the San Francisco Elks Pride Bingo, and take pride in working with a mainstream org to demonstrate that what unites us is greater than what divides us.

Goals and Aspirations

I have tried to establish systems for better communications between our Order and the community, and am hoping to formalize a role to address that, and launch an email newsletter to share news, Sistory, and events.

Life Lessons or Words You Live by

I just try to start each day with an open mind, deal with disappointments but not dwell on them, promulgate joy and expiate guilt, and be grateful for all that is not awful in the world.
